Bologna 1 Inter Milan 1 FT

Renato Dall’Ara, Bologna
After beating Fc Crotone Inter would travel to Renato Dall’Ara to take on Bologna. The last time Inter would face them they would go on to win that match 1-0 but the match before that they would win 3-2. But this would be a difficult match has Bologna is a team not to be underestimated as they are a very tactical side. They’re a club that when they find a weakness in a clubs armor they attack that weakness with everything they got. Then with finding that weakness they’re able to create their own goal opportunities which they can capitalize on them. But in this match Inter would get lucky to get a draw in this matchup. The First goal would come from Bologna which would give them the 1-0 lead going into the half. Then the final goal would come from Inter as they would end the match with a draw 1-1.
There wouldn’t be much news this week except that Cancelo would still be out with a ligament injury. But other than that there really wouldn’t be much to mention so let’s get into the formation information. This week we would stick with our usual formation but there would be some player changes from the previous week. On goal you would have none other than Handanovic. On defense you would have Nagamoto who would take over for Dalbert, then you would have Miranda, Skrinier who scored his first goal of the season last week vs Crotone, then D’Ambrosio Then up in front of them would be Valero and replacing Gagliardini would be Vecino. Up in the attacking midfield would be Ivan Persic, Mario and Candereva. Up top would be the Inter scoring beast Icardi. This looks like a solid lineup but we will see how they hold up against Bologna.

BOIN
After the anticipation this match would get underway. In the 5th minute Bologna would try and get the opening goal of the match when Frnacesco would take a right footed shot from the outside of the box but would miss the top left corner. A few minutes later they would yet again try and break the deadlock with a attempt from Verdi with a shot from the outside of the box is blocked. Bologna would continue to get many chances like in the 15th minute when Verdi would take a right footed shot from the left side of the box but would just mis going over the crossbar. Inter would get their first goal chance in the 17th minute when Ivan Persic would take a left footed shot from the outside of the box but would go to high and to the left. Skriner in the 27th minute would try a through ball but Mario would be offside. In the 29th minute D”Ambrosio would get a yellow card for a bad foul on Petkovic. In the 32nd minute Bologna would break the deadlock when Verdi would get a amazing left foot shot from the outside of the box into the lower left hand corner. In the 41st minute Inter would try and get that much needed equalizer with a goal from Vecino with left footed shot from the center of the box but would be blocked. In minute 44 Donsah would get a yellow card and this would conclude a completely Bologna dominating side. If Inter could open more goal chances they may come away with a much needed point.

After the break the second half would get underway. In the 48th minute Francesco would try to add to Bologna lead with a right foot shot from outside the box but it would be blocked. In the 50th minute Inter would make their first substitution Eder would replace Mario. In the 51st minute Inter would try and even thing up with a goal from Candereva passing to Icardi but he would be offside. Two minutes later Icardi would get a header but his attempt would be blocked. In minute 56 Candereva would try and put Inter on the board with a right foot shot from outside the box but his attempt would be blocked. Three minute later Miranda would try a header but his attempt would be saved. In minute 67 Eder would try a header but would miss to the left. In minute 77 Icardi coverts a penalty with a right foot shot to the high center of the goal which would give them the much needed equalizer and would make the score 1-1 with 13 minutes left in the match. In the 81st minute Inter would make their second substitution of the match when Brozovic would take the pitch for Candereva. Three minutes later Persic would try to add to their lead to pull off another victory but his left foot shot would miss to the left. In minute 86 Inter would make their final Substitution of the match when Gagliardini would replace Valero. At this point it would be a game of keep away as this match would end in a 1-1 draw.
My man of the match is Simone Verdi of Bologna he created many goal opportunities for his side and proved hes a great athlete. This would prove Inter still have a lot to work on like keeping the ball away from their own goal and creating and executing goal opportunities. But their start is a far cry from last season as it looked like they would face a relegation battle. But our next match where we will be at home verses 17th place Genoa. Until then as always FORZA INTER.
