In the beginning of the summer it was rumored that Lukaku would join Inter before the start of the season. This comes in wake of Conte isolating Icardi has Conte doesn’t tolerate drama which Icardi and his wife tends to cause which he will not allow. So this left a huge need for a striker with Icardi being benched if he’s stuck at the club if he doesn’t leave for Juventus which is his reported place he wouldn’t mind going to. Inter placed an initial bid of 54 million euros which Manchester United rejected has they put him at a 85 million euro investment. Inter were thinking of a reasonable counter offer but Juventus were looking to hijack Inter’s man Lukaku for a Dybala and Lukaku swap. But Manchester United however pulled the plug on negotiations has Dybala only wants a move to Inter Milan or PSG. While also Lukaku would leave only for Inter Milan. After that link was severed Inter came in with an offer of 70 million euros with a possible 13 million euros in additional bonuses. Lukaku will be utilized has a primary striker replacing Icardi has he is not apart of Conte’s plans for the club. Lukaku’s strength he has is his body he is tall enough to complete headers inside the box that keepers and defenders will have a hard time blocking. He predominantly scores goals with his right foot but however he is very comfortable using his weaker left foot to score and set up assist which is great has most players stick with their stronger foot which can make setting up things a bit difficult. So it is good that when he performs attacks he is very versatile. Defensive wise he will be hard to stop because of his physical build which will make it hard for opponents to block and tackle his shots. If Lukaku however has to move to a defensive position he will be good at stealing the ball from opponents and blocking their chances has well. Lukaku will also be a huge threat inside the box especially for aerial duals him paired up with Martinez will help give Inter a potential title this season but other than that welcome to the club Lukaku.
