After the first international break of the season Inter take on Udinese. Last season Inter won the season with a win and one draw. Overall Inter have won four out of their last six matches against them. Inter are going into this match with two wins and is looking to make it a third while Udinese are looking to get their second win of the campaign. So far Inter are looking good but they’ve only been up against weaker sides it will become a challenge once they take on top tier clubs like title defenders Juventus. But they’ve been improving against weaker sides which of recent seasons have caused them problems. Udinese are doing well themselves despite only having one loss so far. Here is what to expect when these two sides face off.
So far Inter is looking good player wise. Lukaku is slowly finding his rythem and has scored two goals one which was created the other was a converted penalty in their match against Cagliari. Sensi is proving to be a valuable asset creating chances and finishing them as well he has scored himself. Defensive wise Skriniar continues to be a key asset to the club blocking and stealing the ball. Rannochia is even finding new life in Conte’s defense. Midfield wise Brozovic has been finding himself again becoming a threat in that area. Candreva who has been struggling is finding his rythem again. Martinez and Lukaku are geling as well. So far they are doing well but of course there is always room for improvements. The key player will be Lukaku.
Some of their top defenders is H. ter Avest he is the strongest blocker and ball stealer for their club he makes sure his side maintains possession of the ball. Samir is another player who is strong in this area as well. In the midfield some of their strongest goal chance takers and players who are good at setting up their shots are De Paul who will be the key player in this match along with Walace. Pussetto and Lasagna will be the main goal takers in this match as they are both quick and agile.
The bottom line
Inter has always will probably utilize the 3-5-2 formation while Udinese will more than likely use the 4-3-3 formation. Inter will continue to work with the same players but hopefully they decide to bring fresh legs into this match like starting Barella and Esposito because if they continue to use the players they have been using they will get fatigued which can put points in jeopardy as tired players struggle to maintain momentum. They will need to do the usual culprites blocking chances and stealing the ball finishing scoring chances. Based on history this match should give Inter their third win of the season keeping them in the top three of the table.
